Team Aims To Increase Referrals

Mia Butler, Sales Manager at Highgate House, the Sundial Group’s conference centre at Creaton, has taken over as Chapter Director of BNI Lighthouse, part of the world’s largest business referral organisation, which meets every Friday morning at the Sunley Management Centre in Northampton.
Her appointment creates a little bit of history as she is the chapter’s first female director, and she also has a new Leadership Team to support her and drive the chapter forward to further success.
BNI Lighthouse, which has generated more than £250,000 in business for its members since it started, is currently on a recruitment drive for new members in a number of fields including recruitment agency, information technology, business adviser, bank services, residential builder, office products, business coach, security systems, architect, computer sales and service, graphic designer, general motor insurance, travel agent, sign company and marketing services.
“Just as with any business we have set ourselves clear goals and objectives for the new term”, says Mia. “We are looking at increasing the number of referrals passed within our chapter weekly which, in turn, creates more business for the members involved.”
BNI members meet weekly with the prime intention of passing each other opportunities for new business through word of mouth referrals. This is often the most cost-effective form of advertising possible.
“We would be delighted to welcome anyone interested in joining our chapter to one of our meetings so that they can see for themselves the business opportunities being passed between members”, adds Mia.
BNI Lighthouse (www.bnilighthouse.co.uk) meets every Friday starting at 6.45am with breakfast.
